This Venusaur is a promo card from the “Starter Triple Get Campaign” held in commemoration of the release of Pokémon Card e. Three application tickets attached to a box of Pokémon Card e “Starter Packs” were used to apply for either the Red-Green course or the Gold-Silver course. The lottery was divided into five drawings, with 5,000 winners for each course. Venusaur was one of the three set cards distributed to winners of the Red-Green course.
