This card was included in the Alola Moonlight expansion pack from the Pokémon Card Game Sun & Moon, released in 2017. Mallow is a character from the Nintendo 3DS game Pokémon Sun & Moon. Her family runs a diner, and she herself loves cooking—something that’s showcased in the game—and this aspect of her personality is also reflected in the illustration. It is the only Supporter SR card in the set, illustrated by Kei Mizutani, a well-known Pokémon designer.
