This card was included in the 2001 release of the Pokémon Trading Card Game ★Neo "Booster Pack Vol. 4: Darkness, and to Light...". It features the return of "Dark Pokémon," which first appeared in the 1997 release of the "Booster Pack Vol. 4: Team Rocket." At the time of the Team Rocket set's release, Pokémon from "Pokémon Gold and Silver" had not yet been introduced. Therefore, this expansion mainly included those Pokémon as "Dark Pokémon," and this card is one of them.
