Included in the Pokémon Card e "Starter Pack" released in 2001, this set featured a 30-card pre-constructed deck along with a rulebook, markers for gameplay, and other materials—similar in content to modern starter decks. Among the Pokémon included, only the partner Pokémon from Red & Green and Gold & Silver received newly illustrated artwork. The unlimited edition of this set was not sold through general retail channels, making it even rarer and more valuable than the 1st Edition version.
